Seasonal Hiring Opportunities Apply for seasonal position with Cleveland Lakefront State Park
NOTICE: Officers will conduct a traffic enforcement blitz the weekend of July 3, 4 & 5 as a reminder to motorists to slow down and observe traffic safety laws when driving in the park. This effort is part of a statewide safety program initiated this summer for state parks.
"Our focus is not on writing a pile of tickets, but to help remind motorists that when they obey the law they are having a direct impact on the safety of our visitors as well as themselves," said Joe Soukup, Law Enforcement Supervisor of Cleveland Lakefront State Park. "We want this to be a positive program that results in fewer accidents and speeding."
Beginning March 10th, 2009 the park office will no longer be taking reservations for any of the pavilions or the conference room. Beginning March 26th, 2009 the reservation number is 1-866-644-6727 or online at (http://www.ohio.reserveworld.com/), .There will be a $8.25 reservation fee in addition to the cost for the pavilions and the conference room.

Cleveland Lakefront State Park is composed of six different areas and is the most spread out park in the Ohio State Park system. It stretches 14 miles from Edgewater Park, west of downtown Cleveland, to Villa Angela/Wildwood Park outside the city of Euclid. Park hours are 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., except Euclid Beach hours are 1/2 hour before sunrise to 1/2 hour after sunset, the park office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. The park office is located at 8701 Lakeshore Blvd., N.E., Cleveland, Ohio 44108.
Headlands Beach State Park boasts a mile long natural sand beach which is the largest in the state. The park hours are 1/2 hour before sunrise to 1/2 hour after sunset. The park office is located at the Cleveland Lakefront State Park office and the hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
