ndividuals interested in the lottery may apply August 1, 2005 through August 31, 2004 (Monday thru Friday) at the park office, on-line at www.clevelandlakefront.org, or faxed to 216-881-9256. When applying by mail, the application must be returned to the park office certified mail, return receipt or the application will not be accepted. NO LOTTERY APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER 08/31/05 5:00 P.M..The boats registration number (OH#) or Coasts Guard documentation # is to be filled out in the right hand corner]. If there is no number listed the application will be disqualified and not entered into the lottery.
Name, address, and phone number (during 8 am to 5 pm) is imperative. If the address or phone number changes, please advise the park office and the change will be made on the lottery form. A good phone number is imperative, since this is how notification is made, otherwise the next person on the list will be notified.
The length of boat is determined by the total length, not titled so it is imperative to know the total length (title length plus swim platform and bow pulpit) of the boat being entered into the lottery.
REMEMBER: Only one card per boat, per household, per address (No PO Box accepted) is accepted for the entire lottery, regardless of the number of boats owned by the individual.
In other words, the owner of a 28’ boat, cannot enter a lottery form for a 32’ and or larger space. No person under 18 years of age shall be permitted to submit a request for a dock space and only one dock request may be submitted for each residential address. No person who is currently a dock holder or persons living at the same address as a current dock holder may submit a lottery card.
You must own or lease (notarized) a boat at the time of the lottery to apply!
If you are handicap (Need doctor’s certification) and your boat is 30’ and under, please mark your application “HANDICAPPED” and your entry will be placed in C dock lottery. There are 12 handicap docks on C and are given out on an “as need basis”. There are no handicap docks available for boats 31’ and above.
The public lottery will be held Saturday, September 17, 2005 at 9:00 a.m. (nine) at the park office of Cleveland Lakefront State Park (where
lottery forms are submitted)

This lottery will be held for all available, un-renewed dock spaces.
Winners need not be present at the time of the lottery drawing.
There will be in effect, six individual drawings.
All names submitted are drawn and numbered as to when drawn.
The lottery establishes a list until the second week of April, when winners will be notified by telephone if dock space is available.
This list is valid for one year (2006).

For those boat owners who have a Golden Buckeye Card, they will receive 10% off of the price of the dock. Please show your buckeye card when claiming your dock.

F DOCK– NO CHARGES
F dock does not have individual water and electrical connections. These services will be available for every four boat slips (temporary usage for all four boaters). Telephone service is not available on the dock.

CLAIMING DOCK SLIPLottery winners have 3 (three) days from notification to claim dock and pay fee. If unable to contact by phone (i.e. no response to message left on answering machine, no forwarding phone number if number changed, etc. ) then the next person on list will be called. Failure to meet the requirements listed below will result in a forfeiture of a winning space, and the boat owner next on the list for that dock length becomes eligible.
